I got my hair superbly done* Saturday, right, at Dario Cotroneo, (www.cut.com.au) and Dario's sister Sonia, who is also a Hair Magician, was innocently thieving all of my attention away from the pretty pictures in Italian Vogue with her wild do.
Here is is.
Note that she didn't want me to take this photo as her hair had been attacked by the Rainifrizz Monster, but i thought it was looking full sick and took the photo anyway.
And I marvelled at Her Fringe, because Her Fringe is The Fringe all of the overseas fashion and beauty mags are frothing over in their 'Fall' trend writeups. And kind of what the PCD have got in the filmclip I put up a few posts back.
In fact, just as I was asking Sonia how she achieves such a glorious, full, eye-skimmy fringe ("It's deep, my hair is thick, and I blow dry it down and forward"), we saw this ad in October US Glamour.
And I thought, golly. It truly IS the season of the thick, full, deep, helmet fringe. Unfortunate that I have fine, curly hair spewing with cowlicks and I live in the most humid city this side of Singapoo, otherwise i'd be rocking it like a baby's cradle.
But that doesn't mean you can't.
OF COURSE ask your hairdresser if it'll work, and if it'll be hard work, before you go putting bowls on your head and stealing mum's Good Scissors.
