People sometimes ask me the time, or where the toilets are.
People also sometimes ask me which mascara is 'best'.
But my answer changes all the time, because there is always an excellent new mascara sloping out from behind a corner, waiting to excite and delight. Of course, there are some that will always be deserving of praise and money being spent on them (Lancome Hypnose, L'Oreal Volume Shocking, M.A.C. Zoom) and some that won't (shoe polish on a cotton tip).
But post-launch-I-went-to-last-night, we have a new entrant in Little Miss Mascara pageant.
Would you please welcome to the stage... L'Oreal Telescopic Magnifying and Lenghtening Mascaraaaaa! With: Four 'combs' on the one bendy, flexible 'wand'.
What this means: Lengthened lashes, separated lashes, lashes that are boosted at the roost, every lash being found and celebrated.
Why it's good: The wild comb bends, (see photo for action shot) meaning you can bend it, and hold it horizontal so you wiggle the product into your lashes side-on, as well as the Standard Operating Procedure of simply combing the product through from root to tip. Plus, while it lengthens, it doesn't do it with heavy fibres, which is the main cause of unsavoury mascara drop-down halfway through the day.
What it did to my eye hair: Made them look very long, defined and while the product is chiefly designed to give length, I got some solid volume too. (From the horizontal wiggle action.)
Price: Around $23 bucks.
Rating: Definitely sash-worthy.
