Guess who is Revlon's newest face?
(Hint: Not Pete Doherty. Or Pete Wentz.)
No, it's this woman:
Yes, The Body is switching to The Face, and will now be perched on the same illustrious branch as Halle Bizzle, Kate Bozzie and Jess Albizzle, all of who represent Revlon globally, and also on Jupiter.
How super to see an Ohssie as the face of a multinational brand. Since Nat Imbrugs left L'Oreal, we haven't really had one of our beautiful people be paid for being beautiful at that level.
(Except this guy, of course, who I believe is about to be announced as the face/scrawny chest of Supre.)

When I found out Elle was going to be the face of Revlon, I was somewhat surprised. I'm still hoping she will represent their haircare empire rather than makeup or skincare.

That corey kid is mtv/supre all over. Glorified brattery with no class to speak of. His shoelaces say it all.

It's lovely to see that finally Gwennie had a hair change. She looks fab!!

How will the ads turn out? I hear you ask? Well...I bet my Manholo Blaniks that the ads, as in all those Revlon and L'Oreal ads, will be exagerated (ya know the L'Oreal ad with Pene Cruz with the microscopic mascara that grows your lashes like its a miracle from God!!!!) airbrushed, polished and shined and her skin will be glowing like a new born's bum!!!
Fruitys get with the programme! Oh by the way, she WAS the face for Model Co but not any more. I wonder!
And Reese is with Avon.
I want to have a body like hers, her money and her lifestyle....but her skin? No thanks and no amount of airbrushing will convince me otherwise.

and actually now that I think about it, isn't she stuck in a hair timewarp just like Gwyneth was?

Reese Witherspoon I can understand; (although right now isn't she with Avon?) but Elle..ick..no. I agree, she's too leathery IMO as well.

Its great to see an older (compared to other models still working) woman as the new face of Revlon, i'm excited to see how the ads will turn out :)
Corey and Supre will go perfectly together ;)

Hannah, I heard she was the face of Model Co too. Maybe she was dropped/contract expired?
Also, I completely agree with the others - Elle is waaay too sundamaged to be a "face" of any cosmetics brand (unless she was perhaps a 'before' shot model?) Props to her for the hot bod, but I've heard that her skin looks quite leathery in person.

and isnt reese witherspoon about to be one aswell? I'm so losing track!

But I thought Elle was The Face of Model Co? Am I way off track fruity or is Elle just proving she can multi-task?

GOOOOOOOOO ELLE!!!

Have to agree with Kat, not a great choice. At her age her body is absolutely fantastic, but she is a sun worshiper and it reflects on her face. I bet if you see her in the real her face will not be that great.......and lets not forget fruities.......THE AIRBRUSHING!!!!!!! What we will get are ads that have been airbrushed the beejezus out of them. NOT REAL!!!!! Just remember this fruities.....the beauty industry's number one biblical mantra is.....airbrushing, airbrushing, airbrusing, and more airbrushing.
One more comment.....what's with her hair. Man...she needs a major hair overall. She looks as if she just escaped from an air tunnel. Not well groomed at all!!!!

Isn't Jennifer Hawkins one of the faces of Covergirl?

Looking that good after forty even with maximum sun exposure has to earn her some kudos surely! I think she is a classically gorgeous Aussie woman.

You read my mind Katie, oh and great name!
Posted by: Kat | March 27, 2008 at 11:19 AM
Oh no...can't say I agree with this one AT ALL. Elle definitely has a great body and fab European style, plus she was gorgeous in her younger days, but by golly that is the face of someone who hasn't taken care of their skin in the sun. She is the epitome of leathery/freckled/non-sunblocked skin! Not very beautiful to me!
Posted by: Kat | March 27, 2008 at 11:12 AM
Isn't she a little... um... sun damaged to be the face of makeup?
