Q: Let me guess, you're about to post a bronzer tip?
A: Wow, you're, like, really smart and stuff.
Q: Will some fruits already have read this tip on your work blog?
A: Most likely.
Q: Then why post it here? Lazy? Running out of material?
A: Tough crowd. I'll post it here because it's too excellent to not have everyone one know it, do it and love it.
Q: Big call. What you got?
A: A pretty amazing bronzer trick, is what I got. Which is more than I can say for you, and your nasty little questions.
Q: Whatever. Start tricking and tipping, sister.
A: Okay. So. It's a leetle bit hard to articulate, as in Very Very Hard, but after my under-eye illuminator triangle, this is probably my Best Tip Ever. I was graciously given it by a Chanel makeup artist, Anthony Adams, and it goes a little something like this...
A:Put some bronzer on your big fluffy blush brush.
Tap off excess. This is important. Do it.
Place your brush at the top of one side of your forehead, right up near the hairline, and proceed to draw a 'C' round and down to your cheekbone. It can be a 'C' or the top of a large '3' - whatever is easiest for you to imagine.
Next, take the brush from your cheekbone down into another small 'C', or the bottom of the '3' to your jawline, just shy of your chin.
Q: Hang on. I'm confused.
A: Oooh, no surprises there. You should've just done two 'C's (standing for Coco, Chanel - how delicious) or one large number 3 down the side of your face, with the cheekbone acting as the middle of the '3', or the bottom of one 'C' and the top of the second.
Q: Okay. Now what?
A: Now, repeat it on the other side of your face, of course. Go over the '3' a few times to build colour if you desire. I do. Especially the bottom half. Be sure to blend in nicely on the jawline; no lines, please.
Q: Uh-huh. And then?
A: Marvel at how naturally tanned and flawlessly bronzed your face is.
Q: And why is this such a special, amazing technique?
A: Because you're contouring the face and kind of pushing the middle of your face forward by creating a contrast of tone on the outer rim and on the cheekbone. See, by just brushing on your bronzer all over the place, and on the nose and chin and so on (i.e. down the middle of the face, or 'where the sun hits') you just end up looking overly brown, or orange, or glittery, or muddy. Not so pretty.
Q: Think you're so clever, don't you?
A: I do. Are you about to disagree?
Q: Hey. Leave the questions to me.
A: I'm sorry... was that, was that a statement just there, Mr I'm All About Questions?
Q: Did you just ask another question?
A: That's more like it. Now let's just both stick to what we're best at.

I did this little trick for the first time a couple of weeks back and no jokes, i got stop by some man - who chased me up the escalator, looked into my eyes and said you're beautiful - let me look at your eyes (shaked his head) and again said, beautiful. guess the blusher method brought out my eyes too! thanks fruity

I am a bronzer / blush addict and I recommend this blush to all my friends and make them try it and the are all left changed forever and rushing out to buy it.
The brand is Face Of Australia blush and the name is "Terra". It suits all skin colourings and is more blush than bronzer but never has a friend tried it and not have looked amazing and whats better is that is retails for approx $8.50 and so I have one in all my bags, car and work desk.
Thanks fruity for the blush brush tip!!

Great tip Fruity! I am a fan of anything involving the interlocking Cs, really. Can you recommend some bronzers for pale, fair skin... I have a sinking feeling that my Nars laguna is definitely too dark for me these days and feel lost without it! x

Oh Fruity you're too good! I've just bought some bronzer so this tip is perfect! Now I won't look horribly fake and tacky!
And although i totally got how to apply it from your wonderful Q and A session fruity, thanks Catherine for the video link as it just helps so much to see how to do it.
Now I'm off to look gorgeously glowy and tanned..

Guerlain Tan Booster is my new fave bronzer. I top it with a pink blush and it looks really fresh.
But for a cheapie, Physician's Formula Sun bronzer is great - it's sheer, but buildable.

I have heard this tip many times BUT I just don't understand where the bottom of the 3 is supposed to stop =( ok ok ok. So middle of the 3 is under the cheekbone, that I get... and bottom of the 3 is the jawline? Or below the jawline along the start of your neck? A little help for the not so bright, please fruity!
So in love with this blog by the way, you have such unique humour and wit and vibrance!

Oh! I saw a video of this technique on youtube! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUBb99c9rk4 Unfortunately, I'm still on the lookout for a nice bronzer that won't look weird on my very fair skin :/
